Holidays for Heroes
One of the core strategic missions for Afghan Heroes was to provide facilities whereby wounded soldiers and families of the fallen could share time within the family unit. It promotes an environment whereby families can be together and help each other through times of extreme pressure and anxiety. The first such facility has been located in Weymouth Bay, a Haven Holiday site within a stone’s throw of the beach and the historic seaside town of Weymouth.
Weymouth Bay will host the 2012 sailing Olympics and as such, newly created commuter links have been installed to fast track access into the area. You can access Weymouth easily by Road and Rail and the site is fully equipped ensuring that your holiday can be memorable without the need to go far from the facilities.
